Less whimsical is Dark Horse Comics latest epic. Dawnrunner tells the story of Anita Marr, a promising young pilot of giant mechs and possibly Earth’s last hope of survival. Writer Ram V and artist Evan Cagle render a gripping story which proves to be more than robots fighting giant monsters.
MAN’S BEST FRIEND #1
Pets in outer space are the perfect subject for a family yarn. Creative duo Pichetshote & Lonergan had other ideas and spun the concept into a fully-fledged graphic novel. This BOOM! Studios title deals with three pets being stranded on a barren planet after their owners are captured by aliens.
